I definitely had much worse first turn staging compared to my last game. It added quite a bit of threat plus I had 2 low engagement cost enemies to deal with right away. Easterling Pursuit got a number of resources pretty quick. I managed to deal with those early enemies but then Riders of Rhun came out and made mincemeat of my fledgling board state. The more I play this quest, the more it seems I need a deck that can have a strong turn 1. I think my Eagles deck could eventually steamroll to victory if I had another game without many enemies in the first couple of turns, but that seems very unlikely.

**I just realized I forgot to give Rider of Rhun 2 an Easterling Horse since it was revealed during staging. This means I would have failed questing and had both Riders engaged. There’s no way I would have survived that onslaught. Game over man, game over. **
