Introduction
I immediately made tweaks after my last attempt so I’d be ready as soon as I had time to play again. I put in The Favor of the Lady, Star Brooch, and 3 copies of Celebrían’s Stone. The plan is to build up Eowyn so she and Halbarad can try to complete Decipher the Ancient Texts. Those defense boosts are going to help make Denethor able to defend against Thaurdir. I put in some Guardians of Arnor since Stage 2 is guaranteed to give me 2 enemies to defend against. 3 defense Guardians can fend off Cursed Dead and the weaker wight enemies. The deck is still more Leadership but rebalanced slightly so not quite so dependent on Steward but still plan to mulligan for it.

Postmortem
As expected, getting Steward early helped tremendously compared to my last game. Guardian of Arnor was a good addition to handle the Cursed Dead when I didn’t have Unexpected Courage for Denethor. Also my plan to boost hero willpower worked and I got the defense boost attachment. Denethor or Amarthuil, once built up, now can tank Thaurdir. It is going to be interesting in the next scenario if I can find both Mail of Earnur and Orders from Angmar just for that reason. Looking forward to using Amarthuil hero.
